Resident is a (not real) TV show about Kate (Kaling), an over-achieving OB/GYN resident who compartmentalizes everything—her work, her love life, her stand-up comedy career—because it works. Fate and UCLA’s stellar programs unite Kate with her college best friend, Olive (Morales). They haven’t spoken in five years and Kate is surprised to hear that her disorganized but brilliant friend, though as scatterbrained as ever, is now attending law school. It seems only natural to move in together, but Kate soon learns that despite being a great friend, Olive is a pretty terrible roommate. The two slowly become each other’s constants, working around their crazy schedules, parties, love interests, friends, and their neurotic landlord (Bill Hader).

Flawless tags are flawless. Also, I would watch this show solely for the fact that Bill Hader is the landlord. I mean, come on.
